Maybe the deals you are presenting are not that great or how you are presenting them may need to be tweeked. These guys are busy and don’t have alot of time to go chasing around after deals.

Milwaukee BirdDog Question - Posted by MegaMan

I would like to say first off that this website is GREAT and I have gathered so much information from just reading the posts that I don’t even think I need to purchase a seminar
I currently work as a scout in Milwaukee, providing lists to rehabbers in the area of properites I find while I am driving around. I have spoken to them all and they seem very interested in my services and are always eager to hear from me. My question is this, why don’t I hear from these guys when they tell me they are going to call? They say “These leads seem very promising, I’ll make some calls and get back to you and tell you what I have come up with” and then I never hear from them until I call them back. Are rehabbers really that busy that they cannot return a phone call or even be polite enough to reply to my e-mail. Alls I’m saying is that I make every effort to correspond with my rehabbers on a daily basis, I would just like that to be reciprocated. Any advise, comments or questions please feel free.

The information on this board is very good, but if you are serious, you need to invest in your education. I’m not going to tell you how, that is for you to decide. Reading between the lines, you are saying you aren’t getting any respect. Knowledge and action is the best way to gain respect.
A bird-dog who isn’t getting any referral fees becomes skinny indeed. So take your game to the next level. Start by asking yourself if what you are now doing is creating any real value. Do you know the parameters of your rehabbers deals? What’s a good deal to them? Maybe you are wasting their time and they are just politely kissing you off. Maybe they’d rather find their own deals. Which ones can close quickly? Maybe they are out of cash.
Consider going farther and actually tying up the deal, repackaging it adding value along the way. Bring them a rehab in a box. Now your talking an assignment fee instead of just a referral. More bucks to you because you’ve done more work. A lot of rehabbers love the hammer work, but hate the messy dealmaking work.

All the best…
