Hi all,

I own a single residential town house which I have bought, and obtained a mortgage for in my name.

I would like to transfer the ownership of this property into an LLC, so the LLC becomes the owner of the property but unsure as to what is the best way.

It has been suggested to me that a combination of “Quit to Claim” and a land trust is the way to do this and I would appreciate any comments on whether this is right approach or suggestions on what approach I should be looking at.
