and all doubles sold out this am. Reserved two rooms with a single king so will have an extra for my buddy joe s. Suggest all concerned reserve TODAY… motels in the pc area are 81% booked for July already!! this according to april.
When you call for reservation ask for Sales and mention MOM and room rates are 89 per nite!!

Natalie asked me to post this about room reservations for the July 17 MOM meeting here. Hopefully she’ll have more info in a day or two.
She called the closest motel (one we’d assume you’d want to stay in; there a few others closer but are also near the war zone areas!) and asked about a group room rate. She hasn’t blocked any rooms yet because we don’t know how many people are coming. It’s at the Holiday Inn Select at 2001 N Cove Blvd, 850-769-0000. The rates she was quoted was in the $89/night range. I checked online and the rate I got there was $109/night. There are something like 18 rooms available right now. She is supposed to be checking other local motels to see what kind of price/distance relationship we can find.
Of course, anyone is welcome to find one of the beach-front condos or hotels here to spend their time in! Many of those prices are significantly above the $109 I found at the Holiday Inn!
Like Greg mentioned below, please let us know if you’re coming and need a room so we can help make the arrangements if you need the assistance. Thanks,

I found a Howard Johnson’s on Hwy 98 (about 6 miles from downtown) had a group rate of low $70’s but only had 5 rooms to block for us for July 16th and 17th. Phone # 850-785-0222 and address is: 4601 W. Hwy 98, PC, FL 32401. La Quinta Inn is completely booked. Holiday Inn may still have some rooms, as stated above. Hope to see all here. Might just want to go to HOTWIRE.com and get a great low guaranteed rate. Make sure you book in Panama City and not Panama City Beach because it’s about 12 miles away ~ unless that is your preference.
