Bought a course on this a few years ago but didn’t do anything with it. It can be lucrative, but you need to know what you’re doing in setting it up in gettting licensed with the state, etc. A you need to find the folks to live there and be the “care giver” (cook, bottle washers, etc.). It can get complicated if they have to dispense meds, etc., but if you understand the field it’s quite lucrative I’m told because you’re basically renting out rooms, and if they are large enough, sometimes 2 to a room!!!.

Have opportunity for purchase of 7,000 sf, single story, 7bd Rm 5 bath house in Tampa Bay area on 2 acres that was previously an assisted living facility for less than $40 per sq ft. Has been partially renovated to change into large family home. Needs about $20k to finish. Seller financing available. Assisted living facility ramps, etc still in place. What are opinions on changing back into Assisted Living Facility or finishing as is for sale as family home? What are the financial advantages of Assisted Living Facililty over family home? Any experts or Gurus in this area, willing to comment or educate us and site participants?
