All of it can be done without you being there, usually. It’s called overnight delivery of docs that need to be signed and then you send them back the same way. But, I’d question whether you should be buying property out of your area—you really need to know what you are doing.
Thanks to everyone for answering my previous post. I’ll check out all the info that I can. In the meantime, being new, I have a question concerning purchasing property that’s not local:
Do I have to be present to close a deal? I don’t have transportation (or money!) to get out of town, so am I limited to purchasing locally? If not, how much of the transaction can be done without my personal presence?
