I have had success obtaining judgments then filing an Action to Levy Assets. Once all of their belongings have sheriffs tags on them, they tend to come up with money to stop the sale of their property. Too many landlords say forget it and let them get away with it. I spend the money to make then pay their debts. Some would say good money after bad, not yet for me. It also seems like Magistrates favor damaged landlords.

I had a tenant move out with no forwarding address. I sent a certified letter to the rental and it came back with a hand written address on the envelope. This letter was sent certified return receipt and a copy was sent usps regular mail. They received the letter sent regular mail- they called.
When I filed a Civil Action, the Sherrifs said (the address on the envelope) was unoccupied. As it turns out the address was incorrect.
How can I find them - to serve them?

WHY are you trying to find them? If you’re trying to collect damages, don’t waste your time. Most judgements in the USA are worthless because plaintiffs waste their time filing against people (possibly like your renters) who are JUDGEMENT PROOF.
