If note holder files “sworn account” complaint setting out said note in detail, sworn to, yes, that would be adequate to obtain judgment against you.

Lots of hyperbole been thrown around about “gotta produce real, original signed note” but that’s not normally necessary in all courts if one of lender’s employees or agents signs such an affidavit.

Hello,
I requested the the lender provide the original loan note on my mortgage and they have a copy. They said they would sent a stamped copy when I request it in writing. Is the copy sufficient for the loan to be an enforceable loan?
(Is the mortgage loan valid with a copy or must they have the original document on file)?
