I thought the entire concept was protection? If you have so many liens against a property it then is not feasible, it is worth nothing !

I am a real estate investor. I am putting an LLC together. However, for asset protection purposes it is unclear to me if a trust should hold the property and the LLC do the seconds (liens) or the LLC hold the property and the trust do the liens? Is a trust an entity that can loan money and (for example) and make people have debts? This is my question!

if the trust agreement allows lending then you can lend.
what are you looking at 2 layers of entities? Why not just trust or corp or llc?
