In general - LLC’s are a good place for rentals. I would not do anything through a C Corp except offer fringe benefits. S Corps are a good place to do flips. You should really consult with a professional who knows the area. Mistakes will cost you much, much more than the fees charged.

I intend to place my rental properties into a trust with a separate LLC as the beneficiary of each trust. I then plan on creating a C-Corp. to use for rehabs that are bought and sold quickly.

Would I be able to make the C-Corp the owner of the LLC’s to increase revenues(rental revenue would flow to the corp and then be taxed), as I plan on eventually quitting my current job and will need a very financially solid corp. to be able to borrow money for future investments. Also, how will this effect the Self-employment tax scenario?
