The clerk of the county decides which newspaper(s) to run the publication according to “Dept of Corps”.
We dont have a say. These papers are extremely expensive and there are others that can be used only if the county clerk approves! Which most likely wont happen any thoughts on how to use the cheaper papers to publicate?

The idea is to have it published in the newspaper of greatest circulation, hence they will be the most expensive because of their greater readership. If it were published in some obscure newspaper sure the rate would be cheaper, but it would defeat the purpose of the publication.

In some states there is a list of acceptable papers but they do not steer you to just one. Prices vary but if the state has a lot of rules they must follow, epect to pay more than for a regular ad of the same size. Most daily papers will be on the list.
