Doesn’t using your SS # tie you personally liable now to that LLC versus getting a Fed tax id for that LLC, and thus "limiting your liability??

I am using your LLC course to form an LLC. I will be a single member, since my state allows this. You stated that single member LLC’s do not have to get a federal tax #. I will also not have any employees. I gonna be doing mobile home(Lonnie Deals) from this LLC. Could you elaborate on why a single member LLC should not get a federal tax #? Thanks.

A single member LLC does not get a tax ID because it is “disregarded” an as entity for federal income tax purposes.
