My OPINION is that NO ONE has any liability until a court of COMPETENT JURISDICTION says you do. That said; are you also the lender on this deal? Is is something that’s easily (cheaply) remedied? Could not remedying it cause you a PR problem down the road?
Although, with disclaimers and inspections in place, regardless of answers to the above, I’d probably tell the buyer to pound sand.

Do we, sellers, have any liability to purchaser (9 months after sale) for a problem they now have with house. Disclaimer notice was signed at sale and inspection was done by professional.

I agree with Dealmaker…UNLESS…the defect or problem is a defect that you knew about, did not disclose, hid, etc…if none of these exist…IMHO your responsibility probably is limited.
However, bear in mind that the courts look at it that you as the owner selling have the most knowledge about the conditions and defects…and…a lenient liberal judge may rule against you.
