Bob, I hate to say it, but you need to suck it up and hire a good local real estate lawyer to get you out of this mess.
Good luck,

Lease Option Went Bad & Need - Clear The Title - Posted by Bob S.
Posted by Bob S. on May 29, 2002 at 13:16:24:
Hello,
I Have a home that I own that I did a lease option on. The guy checked out credit and referance wise but the transaction has been bad almost from the start. He filed a memo of lease with option to purchase but he’s not making his payments to me on time he’s almost always a week or two late and this is causing me to be late on my mortgage payments for the property. The guy has been nothing short of a nightmare for the neighbors as well as myself. He’s even been close to 30 day’s late on the first two months of the transaction. This deal has really dinged my credit and I just want this guy to get out now. I did file a revocation of the lease with the option to purchase back in January and he knows that it was filed and doesn’t seem to care. Is this enough to serve a 30 day notice and get this guy out and will this revocation clear the title?
Any advice on how to get this guy out of my place so I can move on and sell it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
