I’ve got a clause in the Purchase contract that states that seller is unaware of any lead hazzard, the buyer has received the pamphlet from me, and waives the inspection (and the buyer initials it). Haven’t had a problem with it so far.

I’m selling an REO that I picked up to a Buyer “as-is”. What do you have the buyer check on the form? I know I as the seller check “Seller has no knowledge of lead-based paint…” which I don’t.

What does the Purchaser (Buyer) check off? Do I give him the 10 day opp. to inspect for this or does he normally waive it? I’m thinking ‘waive’.
