Just a word of general advice. In order to avoid getting “killed” in investing, stick to what you know. If something is “out of your element”, more often than not, what looks like a good investment, will turn out not to be.

Ok, I really don’t know what to do with this, but somehow, somewhere, someone does.
We were given a lead today to a piece of property in Central Florida, about 500-600,000 sq ft of commercial space in a small downtown area, which is vacant and ‘up for grabs’ at about $1 mill.
The property is 5 -6 stories, probably no more than 10-15 yrs old.
It was looked at by a group of medical professionals as a possible outclinic, offices etc., but never got off the ground.
Our ‘thing’ is residential, so my hubby is wondering if a conversion to apts is possible / feasible.
We really are out of our element.
