Landlord’s Liability Insurance in Florida - Posted by mnea@hotmail.com

Hello,

I had to be taken by ambulance to the ER due to an accident, which began with me cutting my hand on something in my apartment building?s dumpster? and ended with me losing consciousness, falling and splitting my forehead open on the floor inside my apartment while trying to stop the bleeding. End result: a bruised knee, 2 front top teeth being chipped and me being diagnosed with ?head trauma with forehead laceration? from which I am still (3 weeks later) experiencing headaches and neck pain.

I am self-employed with no health insurance, no primary care physician and no lease. The medical bills are beginning to arrive and it?s been suggested to me that my landlord should have some kind of liability insurance, which will help me pay the bills related to this accident.

I?d appreciate any advise on this situation.

Thank you
