Joe Kaiser?????? - Posted by kevin

There seems to be a feeling on this site that any criticism is somehow wrong and should be censored. Why? Carl was just posting his opinion and giving another site to check. I don’t know about Joe’s material or Reed’s site, but if I were in the market to spend $2,000 I’d want to check it out. Name calling and censorship don’t help and certainly don’t make CREONLINE look very good. Learn to tolerate other opinions, even if they differ from your own.

I was wondering if anybody has heard of joe’s course called (the biz). I’ve read alot of joes articles and he seems really good. And i’ve heard so many good things about him. but the course is $2000.00 which I dont mind paying depending on the feedback. Ibelive the course is pertaing to foreclosures and he helps with the deals which sounds good since my partner and I are new to investing and are interests are focused on that area. Your feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I am/was a “Biz” member. I joined up with Joe from the start. The program gives you the framework to get a system started and allows you to go from there. Every court filing system is different and you have to learn the system to make things work. I learned the system and was having fun with it while Joe was making modifications to the framework. Things were going pretty well - but time was the answer. I have three kids (1 - 4yr, 2 - 2 yr) and I just could not find the time to devote to the program that I knew I needed (I was working a fulltime job and wanted to spend more time with my children in their early years). Therefore, I let the “Biz” fall in priority and hope to get back in at a later date. I can definitely see the framework and system working if it is given the time and energy needed.

Hope this helped,

Tim

Kevin,

The “Biz” is NOT a “course”. Research first, then ask questions.

Go Back And Read It Again - Posted by Scott (AK)

Kevin,

You may need to go back to Joe’s website and read the information about “The Biz”. The Biz is not just a course. It is a situation in which you would work with Joe on foreclosure deals.

The course is only a part of it. Check it out on his site.

Once you read it if you have questions I am sure you can get them answered by Joe himself. Just drop him an email. Everything you need to get information and make an informed decision is right there on his website.

Good Luck

Scott (AK)

P.S. Drop an email to Mitch also. Looks like he has misunderstood the question too.

Hi Kevin,

In my opinion NO ONE should be allowed to get away with charging thousands of dollars for a single course. Now, that’s my opinion and I know that many others that read these boards feel knowledge is important. Well, I surely agree! Paying Joe $160 for his f/c course is certainly worth it and paying another “guru” a few hundred for his course wouldn’t get an argument out of me. BUT, for anyone who feels the need to bilk (I can think of some other words for it  ) people out of THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for a course or seminar is just lunacy. Sure, they’ll tell ya that one deal pays for it and that is simply why they feel they can get away with it. Real Estate investment is a lucrative field but it’s also full of hucksters and scam artists looking to prey on others. I respect Joe and certainly am not implying anything - from what I can tell he is offering a SERVICE to help you with deals. For that, and I don’t know much about his SERVICE, it may be worth it…be your own judge. I just have a problem with the “bootcamp” concept that extracts large sums of money from you to teach you what we all should know. Find motivated sellers & help solve their problem(s). For that you get paid. You can learn that in any couple hundred dollar or less course offered on this site. Don’t go spend thousands of dollars needlessly.

It is interesting to me that 2 people in the same field have such different views on this material. My position is this, Add up the time it took Joe Kaiser to research and perfect this system. Including the failures and back stepping it took to put a successful plan in place. Then put a dollar amount on that time . I would say that in most peoples case it would come out to many thousands of dollars. I think anytime you can get all the experience of an expert in the foreclosure market for a bargain price of 2000 dollars, you would be a fool not to. Besides, education is important even to the experienced investor.
Robert over and out.

p.s. How much is your time really worth?

Mitch,

Not only are you wrong, but you haven’t the foggiest idea of what you’re talking about.

I suggest you research the “Biz”. You can apologize later.

Go to www.johntreed.com under the guru choice.

Reed is honest; nonbiased as he recommends Lonnie while having another opinion on Kaiser.

I know Reed will be slammed but he seems right on the money with Lonnie.

Reed IS biased - Posted by JHyre in Ohio

I like some of his material- especially the tax-avoidance book. When it comes to rating the gurus, Reed is VERY biased. Look at his critisism of Kaiser- it focuses on trivial things (e.g.- name of title, snetence spacing) but NEVER addresses the substance head-on. The problem is Reed HATES lease options and would never recommend ANY guru who does like them. Instead of just saying that, he does a hatchet-job on Joe’s materials. I’ve seen some of Joe’s stuff, and it is very high quality. The guy is VERY systematic and is simply ingenious when it comes to “angles”. His writing style is very straight-forward and easy to grasp.

Reed did a job on Scott Britton. He did not address the substance of Scott’s material- rather he implies that $10,000 in three months is minimum wage earnings and that the course therefore reeks. That’s it, no other commentary by JTR. Nevermind that the concept of doing just ONE such deal and NOTHING else in three months is absurd. All Reed addressed on Scott’s materials was the TITLE- and addressed it poorly.

He also slammed Behle on the flimsiest of grounds. Yes, he later admitted he was wrong, but the fact that he didn’t do his homework indicates sloppiness at best and malice at worst. He was quite ready to slam- seems to have a hair trigger in this respect. Not the signs of a paragon of objectivity.

Ask anyone on this site- I asked questions like yours and was QUITE concerned with what Reed had to say. I learned- and got picked on a little in the process. BFD- the point is that Reed’s guru ratings should be taken with a copious amount of salt. Even if he’s right re Lonnie or Mckorkle, he’s been very sloppy when it comes to other CREOL gurus.

'Nuff said.
