How little people outside the mobile home industry know about mobile homes. I recently read in the MHI magazine a comment made by a CEO of a financial institute that finances mobile homes and parks. He asked of the writer of the article if " these home we are financing are hooked up to water and electricity?". If this is typical of the general public concerning mobile/manufactured/trailers/modular homes, its no wonder the industry is constantly fighting for its life. All the people in the industry need to join in and educate the rest of the people about how good these homes are, the new ones being better than stick/site built homes. We need a spokesman/woman to further the cause of affordable housing and show the public what we have to offer.
