Yes but there is a lot more looked at these days.
A year ago you still buy commercial properties based on the property itself but now you have to take into account the buyer, global cash flow, and many other factors.

Fannie and Freddie now have about 70% mkt share on MF lending. They are still active and are really the only game in town. You need to find a DUS lender (means that they are a designated underwriter for the FNMA and FRE programs) If you need help email me and I will put you in contact will the appropriate local contact of a reputable commercial mortgage broker.
