Is it just plum stupid to buy an out-of-state mobile home?

I realize that probably having a family member or close friend who lives nearvy the mh to broker my deal would be an option…save for the fact that I do not know anyone who lives out there.

What would be some methodologies whereby I could perhaps purchase the mh (preferably utilizing lease/option technique) even though I myself live almost 2000 miles away from it?

For me over 20 miles is a hassle. It certainly can be done, but don’t expect to have any real control without someone nearby representing your interests. I don’t enough profit to justify the risk, no matter what the numbers are.
