Your state’s got a specific statute against it, which I’d doubt, or;

Unless the contract(K) has specific provision saying it cannot be assigned.

I had just bought a house on a land contract. My intent was to sell via L/O but someone offered to purchase from me on a land contract. Since I signed my original contract with my name and/or assigns, instead of writing up a new land contract form with my buyers, is it legal to just assign my current contract to them for a fee?
