Investor-Friendly Broker to Sponsor Me? - Posted by Matt

If you are in Contra Costa County, California I could refer you to a number of solo brokers who would likely do this for you. Second to that, try contacting independent brokers, those who sell real estate out of their own private office with maybe one assistant and maybe one or 2 other real estate licensee investors. See if there are any CCIM’s in your area who would have any ideas after clearly stating your plans to them by searching the directory at http://www.ccim.com Here is the search directory link which is titled simply ‘Locate a CCIM’ on the home page http://popeye.cciminstitute.com/rbp/ Most of these professionals should be relatively easy to talk with due to the quality of their activities in real estate. Good Luck and post here what sort of results you get!

I’m considering getting my real estate sales license to get MLS access, make some extra income and make other industry contacts. My question is this… how can I find a broker to sponsor me knowing that I’m not looking to become a career realtor and will be investing as well? Should I just avoid the larger brokerages and focus on the smaller ones? Any advice from those who have gone through this would be great! Thanks
