This depends on what you intend to do with the condo, and what resources you have available, in addition to the numbers involved.
Would I buy something 1200-1500 miles away from me?
Maybe, if I got in LIGHT, and WAY under value.
But, I’ll tell you this, if you come down here and buy a property, you may never return to the windy city.
Trust me, I know, I just moved to Florida from the Chicago burbs recently, and there is no looking back for me.
Seriously though, share some details, like the numbers involved, and whether or not you can manage the place from afar?
