The VO concept has been around for awhile. Though I never did it, I once thought about getting an office in what is sometimes called an executive suite. That’s where you have your own one-room office, and there is a shared receptionist, conference room, copier and more. Many would let you put your name up. One such place I saw also had one office that anyone could use to meet a client, and you could use it by paying a base monthly fee and rent the office by the hour. The monthly fee was called a “corporate signature package”, so you could get mail, faxes and phone messages there. Perhaps that is what this company does.

I worked with a mortgage broker in one of these places. I think they worked pretty well.

However, the real question is image, isn’t it? I think it could make you look more “real” as a businessperson, but it could also make you look like you were trying to put up a facade to some people.

Has anyone used these services ?

I.O. is just an answering service I think with more bells & whistles.

What I think I heard ads on the radio for is called the virtual office. That is an answering service with even more bells & …

The V.O. says they have prestigious addresses where you can bring clients for meetings. I think they’ll even put your company name up outside?/inside?

Any experiences with the above services?

I think they are both national franchises.
