Your best bet would be to find an independent agent who could place the policy with the company best suited to your needs.
To find a local insurance agent, talk to other investors locally.

A friend and I are beginning investors, and are in the process of acquiring a 2-family. We are finding that insurance companies seem reluctant to insure an investment property. Is this common? Can anyone recommend insurance companies that might be more “investor friendly”?
