If I buy a house that is rented and the tenant has a lease. Do I have to honor the lease? If I want to sell the house on a lease option do I have to wait for the lease to expire?

Say, in Indiana, I’m not sure you have to keep them if it is a lease for more than three years, and it has not been recorded in the appropriate county. Not a lawyer, but that’s my interpretation of the Indiana Code. Your state may or may not be the same though.
