Inexpensive courses - Posted by daniel
Posted by daniel on September 27, 1999 at 08:22:12:
Hi. Where can I get a lease option course that can be financed like Carleton Sheets or one that is less than $150? I am not rich (not yet anyways) and would like to get started now.
Thank you.

Daniel,
It looks like you’re focusing on the wrong things. Rather than looking for an “inexpensive” course, you pught to be looking for courses that teach the details of what you want to learn!
If you think education is expensive . . . try ignorance!
Good luck,
Brad

Daniel,
You know, I was once where you are at. I had very little cash, and lived paycheck to paycheck.
I saw all these great courses and thought I’d like to have some of them.
But, the prices were high, so I thought.
CS was $200, and the others only went higher.
But, we did get up the courage, and decided that IF we were willing to take a chance and spend the few hundred bucks, how bad could it hurt? (a few more hundred in debt was not going to hurt, we were already at the bottom financially.)
We spent a few bucks on courses, and the result was that we had the knowledge to get our first deal done.
That first deal made me $10k+, and the courses we bought cost me $1000.
We also attended the CRE convention in Dallas, bought a new PC, and some other “supplies”.
After all was said and done, we STILL had $5k+ in the checking account.
Was the money spent on education worth it?
You tell me!
Had we NOT bought the courses, and tried to go it alone, we would not have had the knowledge and confidecne to proceed, and surely would have made some mistakes. Those mistakes would have cost WAY MORE than the courses we bought.
So, is education expensive?
Depends on your mind set.
I’m sure if you sit down and figure out where ALL your money goes now, you CAN make some spending habit changes and come up with the funds needed.
or
Barrow the funds from someone, either a friend, family member, or credit card.
Sell something, that could work too.
What do you have now that you do not “need”?
I’m sure there is something, and what you DO NEED in this business is education, and determination.
Test your determination NOW! And buy the courses you want or need.
All the ones offered here are great, and well worth there asking prices.
If you cannot afford, (in your mind) to buy the courses, then sit back and relax, enjoy living and working for a J.O.B.
Those who are willing to make the move and take the leap, are the ONLY ones that succeed in anything.
You may also get a part time job.
If you go work at a convenience store for minimum wage, you can earn enough to pay for a few courses over a month of working 15 hours per week.
Bottom line, Just Do it!
Good luck,
Jim IL

Joe Kaiser has a lease option course without software for $99. If you want to finance it, use a credit card.
I personally believe in not skimping out on my education. I won’t tell you about all the Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches I had to eat in the beginning, but maybe you should rearrange your spending habits so you can pay for the important things like your education. Just a thought.

I have Kaiser’s lease option course and highly recommend it… however, you need to learn the fundmentals of lease options FIRST. If not, his course may only confuse you.
Follow this board… the experts here are nice enough to take the time and explain all you need to know. This website is more valuable than any course you can buy.
Good Luck!
