Hi,Elementary teacher by day, aspiring real estate investor with the remainder of my time.Recently bought a program off of TV and I would have to rate it “Fair” at best. I love the fact of being able to help people and make a profit at the same time. Helping others should be obvious because thats what I’ve done with children for the last 7 years. I need 2 learn about no money down programs (because I used all of the last of my reserves to purchase the TV program) so that I can first, catch up on my current mortgage(2 payments behind)then build capital. I see that others have made nice profits on their first one or two deals and I don’t see why I can’t do the same(especially in a booming market like at Atlanta). I want to be able to help others so that they will not be up late at night like I am right now concerned with how will I ever catch up. Your advice and your support will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance…If you were me, what would you do…Thanks

In the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact your lender to discuss options.

Dean Grazo, or what ever his name is

breynolds,

Dave Ramsey has a good piece of advice about insurance that I think should be used in more aspects than just insurance… If you don’t understand something, you shouldn’t buy it.

Not even knowning Dean Graziosi’s full name is not a good start in my opinion. Maybe a little more homework on Dean would have answered a lot of your questions before you purchased “what ever his name is” course.

Like CREOnline, Dean’s site has a FREE forum where you can sign up and ask all kinds of questions first before you purchase anything.

Also, because I mentioned Dave Ramsey earlier; I will just go ahead and mention there is a ton of information on his site about Financial Peace.

I have included both of there links below. When you have a few hours or maybe just 30 minutes here and there, dive into these sites and soak up as much knowledge as you can.

And don’t forget, CREOnline has a wealth of knowledge as well.

Good luck in your future investments.

Thanks.

Brian, I thank you for your sincere advice. You are correct, I should have done more investigating about the product before I purchased it. Im familiar with Dave Ramsey, as a matter of fact I used to listen to him all the time. There is one good thing that came from the program and that is I learned about CREonline. I have been reading and attempting to put some things in place from the articles that I have read. How long have you been in Real Estate?

breynolds,

I have been a student of Real Estate for about 14 years now. For years, I was stuck in analysis paralysis, I was reading everything I could get my hands on about Real Estate.

You will never have all of your questions or doubts answered… so don’t wait for the perfect moment. I’m about to venture into the note side of the business and I still worry about making mistakes. Just get started. Keep studying and take the plunge. You can refine the plan as your go.

With you being a teacher, you may have heard the following quote before, however, it always helps me overcome any procrastination feelings that arise from time to time.

General George S. Patton Jr., once said:
“A good plan executed today is better than a perfect plan executed at some indefinite point in the future.”

I hope this helps.
Thanks.
