Dick, some investors will run “ghost” ads in the newspaper saying:
Rent to Own
Nice 3/2 SFH

When people call about houses that I have for sale, and the house is not what they are looking for, I will ask them if I can add them to my Buyer’s List. Just about everytime they will say YES! Think about it…when you advertise a house on a L/O, or Rent to Own, how many people do you have calling on your house? I would get 20-30 calls per day! I could usually add about 5-10 people to my buyers list each day. The bigger your list, the better!
