I purchased Deals on Wheels and Making Money with Mobile Homes in July. I read DOW and bought and sold 2 MH’s. I purchased Making Money with Mobile Homes in August and purchased 5 more homes and sold 3 of them. I want some more knowledge. My goal is to have 50 homes in the next 12 months. I would also like to look into purchasing a park. From you Lonnie dealers out there what reading material should I buy? What software should I order? I think I need something better than my Excel spreadsheets to keep up with the MH’s. Do I need the DOW home study course? What about Ernest’s Investor Toolkit?

Tim,

I would suggest taking a look at Ernest Tew’s “Investor Toolkit”. It has a ton of information on MH’s and MHP’s, plus it includes just about everything that is included in his previous two books.

As far as finding a MHP, I just sold a park in GA that Ernest helped me on and it turned out really good. Get in touch with Ernest and he can help you find one that makes sense. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, I’m in GA also.

In terms of MH deals, Lonnie’s stuff is all you need. I liked Ernest’s book as well. It’s simple, just keep applying it. Ray Alcorn has a very good piece on buying MH parks. I will be putting out a piece in mid to late October on keeping your books, including a section just for Lonnie Dealers…describes how to apply my aggressive cash method in detail, which defers payment of income taxes.
