One thing you can do is help her find a friendly Realtor. You’ll see active ones on the signs in your target area. The Realtor will help her tour three or four homes, and she’ll make an offer on her favorite. At least that’s the way they do it on TV.

I have a friend who wants to buy a house in the San Jose, Santa Clara County area. Price should be below 300k. Here are SOME of the zip codes of the area she wants.

single family home
3 beds/ 2 baths
At least 1,150 living sq.ft (ok in CA) – the bigger the better
move-in condition or costmetic fixers.
She doesn’t need to a great discount. I’d love to help her find something suitable. Can someone within this area help me?
