Do a DeskTop appraisal and check wth the record of deeds office as well… Also, get comps for a local realtor. After you have completed all of this. Walk through the house to see if what the repairs would cost. Back into your numbers to see if the numbers work for you. Get the house under contract then do a full blown appraisal.
