Hi there guys,

Hope you’re great. Umm…we have a client(in las vegas) whom we(in seattle) loaned some money and both parties agreed that a mortgage lein would be placed on the client;s house.
But we’re a small business and we have never done this before so we have no idea where to begin. I think I have to file something at the county court where the property is located in but aside from that I have no idea what to do…if you could give me some advice and direction I would really appreciate it.

I recently went to a auto salvage to get a transmission.They said they had one and would take it out the next day.I paid them in full $454.75 including tax.I also give them my old trans,so there should’nt hav been any mistake.My son went to pick up the trans,they give him the wrong one.They said they would get one in a day or 2.That led to a week,excuse after excuse led to a month. He spent my money to pay his taxes so he kept putting me off.After a month a asked for my money back.He would only give me $355 back out of $454.75.He said it was restock fee and taxes.First, i paid the taxes when i paid for it,i did’nt get the right trans so how can he keep a restock fee.

i loaned my wifes real estate broker an amount of money in order to require a piece of investment property. i have apromissary note for the original amount plus monthly payments. i have been put off forsome time. what can i do.

My husband and myself loaned a family member (stupid we know) money for an investment. Now they are arrested for theft. I would like to put a lein on their mortgage to recover my money. Also if their possessions get seized, would a lein do anything for us?
