How about giving him part of profit(maybe in monthly payment) when you sell/lease those homes, and pay him 500 or less for his work?

i have a mhpark that needs alot of homes fixed up with small infrastructure work. i have a partner that can over all of it and do some himself. but i cant afford his 1k per week that he wants. im willing to give him a piece of the action once the park is fixed up and we refi and maybe 500 per week, but how would i structure something like this?
