In my county if you are under the small claims court threshold, you give notice to the payer( There are forms and I dont remember how many days)
If they don’t catch up, you take your copy of the notice and supporting paperwork to file a claim in circuit small claims court.
The judge sets date for the trial.
He hears both sides, if you have good documentation and you win. He decides how long they have to be out. Usually 20 days or less. Then you and the Sherriff can go and set their stuff on the curb and change the locks.
That is a general description for small claims.
