Hey Everyone,
I’ve been walking a few older properties lately looking for my next long-term rental, and a couple of them have what seem like very minor floor slopes nothing too dramatic, but enough that you feel it when walking through.
I had a quick chat with a concrete contractor while viewing one of the homes, and he mentioned that minor settling is normal in older builds, especially if there are no big cracks or signs of active movement. Still, I’m a bit unsure how much weight to give that when evaluating the overall investment potential.
Do any of you take those slight imperfections as red flags? Or is it more of a “monitor and move on” type of thing?
Thanks in advance!
