It don’t take much for me to see the humor in something like this. I am sure the fella has a real reason for asking, but the wording is just funny as heck.

I have bought two properties, but have no statements, or papers that can prove that this is my business. Thanks for your help!

Serious answer (for a change):
You will need financial statements and also your last 3 income tax forms.
Different lenders have different requirements but that is basically it. Having the statements made by a good accountant helps credibility.
If you have been in business less than 3 years you are pretty well out of luck for getting a conventional loan.

That’s easy. You prove it by just telling someone you don’t work for another. That is self employed. If someone really wants proof, tell them to prove that you actually work for someone.
Could it be that what you are asking is how do you prove your income when you are self employed?

most banks consider a letter from a CPA that he is your accountant and you are self imployed as proof of employment.

OK. I admit it. When I saw this question this morning, I thought. Hmm. Self-employed? How about doing the dishes? watching tv? taking a shower? Something about “self-employed” that I never saw in those words before. I had other, less post-worthy thoughts, too.
Sincerely, Kristine
