Don’t ask us, we don’t know. Call up the company with the sign and ask them–they know. Ask all the questions you can. You are likely to find that they have a website with a lot of information about the auction. What you don’t understand ask about.

House going up for auction - Posted by Carlos Ruano

I was out driving yesterday and came across a nice little house that had a big sign in the front yard that said Public Auction. I’ve seen these before, but never did anything about it. The auction will be held this Sat. and will include the house and all other property/belongings.

What can I expect if I go to the auction this Sat? What will I have to do if I want to bid on the house? Also, my pockets are not very deep, but if I bid on the house and get it for a big discount, should I easily be able to get financing?

How about this hypothetical:

House is worth $150,000.00
I bid $$50,000.00 and get it (hypothetical…remember)
My wife and I have credit scores slighly above 700 (actual)
We have very little cash.

Could I make this work? The house appears to be in really good condition - well maintained.

What other info do you need to be able to better answer my question?

Thanks!
Carlos
