Hello,

I am an investor trying to do a short sale on a duplex. The lender is HFC. Intially, they said that I have to make an offer on the property and only then they can move forward with the short sale. They have been making me run on wild goose chase for more than 1 hours with phone transfers from one extension to another. This happened twice.

Finally Nick (don’t know his lastname) called me from 813-571-8400. He said my shortsale was approved and was wondering why I did not close. I asked what address he was talking about. He gave me the property address and it was not the one I was working on!!! So, he asked me to hang on for 1 second. After 5 minutes, I heard the engage sound from the phone. The phone was still connected but I was getting this engage tone.

Does anyone have direct contacts (phone extensions) of people at HFC shortsale dept? Please provide some direct contacts like phone extensions, emails etc. so I can move forward with the short sale. If you have been successful with HFC shortsales as an investor, please give me some suggestions.
