HELP!!! - Posted by Keith

Posted by Keith on October 08, 1998 at 23:16:53:

I have plenty of properties, but no financing. I live in Washington, DC. My city is in a rebuilding stage slowly but surely. I am looking to invest in Real Estate, but do not have the credit. I am young and have plenty of vision but no financing. What should I do? I have seen properties that I could have invested in, but missed out because I did not have the financing. HELP ME PLEASE!!! I do not want to let another property get away.

Keith -
Seems to me that the first decision is what strategy you intend
with all these properties…am I right in interpreting your post
to mean that you have lots of potential properties or do you already
own all this r.e.?
If you intend to hold long term your funding path will be totally different
than if you plan to rehab and resell in a short time-frame.
If your intent is the latter I suggest you to some legwork to locate
some hard money lenders, there will be plenty around it just takes some
hunting. These are money brokers - they utilize private investor dollars to
fund high equity positions. They are not so concerned with your personal
credit situation - there money is secured by the property.
Good hunting
