I bought his books in 1992. I also bought the Tony youngs books and tapes. I was able to put together a deal and walked away from the clsing with over $30,000

Has anyone heard of Dave Deldotto? - Posted by Dave IL

Hi, I came across a library of tapes, (didn’t come with any other material) at a garage sale. I got it and have been listening to the tapes. They are from the mid-eighties, but a lot of the stuff still seams to ring true. The best part of it is that it really opened my eyes to what is out there and it has given me hope to get started in this business.
I am looking for another course to fill in the gaps left behind by Dave, was thinking about Bill Bronchick’s flipping properties, as this is how I plan to start out. If anyone has a sugguestion I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Dave IL

We have all of Deldottos tapes and books from the 80’s. We have also purchased Carleton Sheets material and am starting a very profitable careet. Sheets is parallel to Deldotta in many respects but seems a bit “less shady” if that is possible in the real estate profession.

To fill in the gaps, you might check on eBay for books and courses by Whitney, Sheets, etc. You might also consider materials discussed on this forum from other authors.
As to what happenned to DelDotto:
This is from the Seattle Times (August 1998). "State sues to stop seminars of real-estate pitchman.
by Kerry Webster
Seattle Times staff reporter
"State officials cracked down yesterday on a real-estate guru they say has been preying on low-income home seekers by charging high fees for virtually worthless information.
The state attorney general filed suit against television infomercial pitchman David Del Dotto, saying his Affordable Housing Network has been charging would-be homebuyers $500 for little more than a pep rally and outdated copies of government forms."
E-mail me if anyone is interested in the remainder of the article.

i bought his course from an infommercial in the late
80’s and it got me on the way. i have heard, that
he has filed for bankruptcy some time ago. his
material motivated me and made me go out and find out
more and i’m a full-time ‘homewrecker’ as a
result
