We had an auctioneer at our investment club meeting and he said most auctions are going for close to retail or above. From what I have witnessed I would agree. Therefore, I see auctions as an excellent exit strategy if you purchase the property right. I’m sure this would vary from market to market but here in south central Wisconsin it is a good strategy.

I was just curious if anyone had ever used an auction team to move some of their property. I would like to hear the pros and cons. I am thinking of as many exit stratagies as I can possibly think of (I have made my first two offers!). Obviously, this is not my primary exit strategy, it is merely an emergency exit.
Has anyone bought property and used an auction team as the primary method of quickly disposing of real estate (sort of an in between retail and wholesale strategy)?
This may be a bad idea, I do not know. It is just a thought that poped into my head.
