If you are just doing the meter loop it can be in the $1000 range. If you have to bring up to code and rewire every room it could run 4-5K. Many of the insurance cmpanies have a problem with houses over 30 years old that have smaller meter loops. If you have to update inside it can entail tearing open walls to get the wiring in.

Would anyone have a ball park figure of updating 60 amp electrical service in a 8 room house to 100 amp? Just want to get an idea. Thanks
