I just wanted to say thanks for such a great event this weekend. It was so nice to see Lonnie, Joanne along with Dr. B and so many friends as well as to make new friends.
You and your family did a heck of a job in putting on this event. I look forward to reading some details on new deals folks are going to be putting together now that they have the jump start they needed.

Oh yes, It was great fun! Educational too. It was wonderful to see friendly faces, known and unknown.
I judge the success of an event like this by how many questions are asked by the newbies. There were tons of questions and lots of good answers from Lonnie, Ryan, Jen, Tony, Rick, John, Brenda, Judd and others.
This is a great community of folks.

Thanks for the kind words Tony & Kevin, I had a great time putting on the event and Jennifer and I both enjoyed meeting everyone. The biggest reward for me these days is seeing the light bulb go on in someone?s eye?s when they truly get it… I got to see it 4 times over the weekend and I?m sure there are others that got it as well that I didn?t get to see.
We had a great crowd from the greenest of newbies all the way to the man that Lonnie deals are named after in a very personal setting where everyone regardless of experience level could rub elbows, how cool is that? This group of people has been very giving to me over the years and I truly hope that I shared enough of what I?ve learned that every single person that attended can get out there and do a deal. Many thanks to all the more experienced investors that came to help others learn about our business, it truly means a lot to me!
Lonnie, I love the new CD that you presented at the event, I?m borrowing a couple quotes to use when I send out the forms for the attendees. I hope your new idea grows into a legacy that will break people free of the daily grind long after we are all gone. You have been a true inspiration to many folks and a source of freedom to the ones who?ll listen and turn ideas into action.
My personal goals for the event were to get more new people posting and to get at least one person and hopefully many to get out there and do a deal. I?m happy to announce that my second goal has already been accomplished, Justin the young man that Lonnie pulled up in front of the class pulled the trigger on his first deal today by taking a sweat equity position in a Lonnie deal that?ll net him a check every month for about 4-5 years.
The deals are not going to magically land in your lap folks, you have to get out there and put forth the effort to put yourself in the path of opportunity. If a 14 year old can earn his own way to the event and then give up his free time after school and his weekends to make a deal happen what is stopping you?
I hope to hear some great stories in the near future folks!

Tony, Am reading your book now and would like to contact you with question concerning a possible land home deal I found. I am going to finish the book first though.

it has been stated by many, and proved by more: investors in the mobile home asset class ARE the most generous, helpful, and sharing group of people in the housing investment game.
Congratulations to Ryan; I only wish that there was a way I could have been there for this one. I miss the social aspect of the events, and I miss my friends.
