Nope, I probably never will.

Direct your question to the correct place: local government agencies–city and county. Ask what they have available for somebody in your position. You can also go to the HUD website and study the many programs they fund. However, most go through local governments.

Has anyone ever used Government grants to begin his or her business in real estate investing?

With all the so called grants available to people is it possible?

If you’re looking for government freebies to buy houses, you’ve probably come to the wrong site. Most of us are pretty independent. The whole point of this site is about buying with little to no of your own money. To accomplish that you need to use your head. Leverage your brains, instead of using cash.

You can find a lot of ways to do that by reading the articles on this site.

Having said that, government at all levels gets involved in real estate though local and hud section 8 rental assistance, target area downpayment grants, brownfield redevelopment, etc. etc. etc.

All the best. . .
