Getting Started With Lonnie Deals - Posted by Ryan (NC)

Looking to see if there is interest for a seminar in getting started with Lonnie deals seeing as the economy has taken a flop and financing for larger MH properties are nearing the ludicrous? I?ve wanted to do a beginners event for a couple years and considering that most of the bigger seminars have been canceled this year due to lack of participation and cost it seems that more people logically will be looking for entry level positioning where they can afford to get started.

I can?t afford to do an event for free like Greg has for so many years but I?m not looking to make a killing either, what would those of you interested consider fair and reasonable for an event that will walk you hand in hand through doing Lonnie deals and setting up SMALL partnerships / private money financing.

Best wishes,
Ryan Needler

There seems to be enough interest to warrant pursuing the Lonnie Deal seminar… There are some very generous folks on this board is all I can say, limited financial help will be available to a couple folks and one fella that wants to attend even offered to pay more for his seat if that would make the difference. I’m working on the final details and trying to negotiate a better deal for the attendees as far as the hotel cost and my cost for renting a conference room.

I expect to have things worked out shortly after the first of next week and will have a surprise for the folks that are truly serious about attending. I need as accurate of a number as possible to negotiate the best room prices, if you are interested please email me ASAP.

Best wishes,
Ryan Needler

Ryan,

I commend you for offering to do a MH Boot Camp and teach others how to make money in this great business. I hope there will be enough people who can see what an opportunity this will be, and take advantage of your offer. But from the light response you?ve gotten, I have to wonder.

Regardless what people say about wanting to become financially independent, and make a better life for themselves, when it?s time to actually do something, most of them will not do anything. Especially, if it concerns spending money, or requires them to step outside their comfort zone. Sadly, they look at an educational event that will make a real change in their life as an expense, rather than an investment in themselves. I experienced the same thing when I was doing seminars. Everyone is gung-ho and all for it until it?s time to get off the pot. Then all the excuses came out. Very frustrating.

I often think of a man I met who attended a seminar years ago. He told me he learned one thing at that seminar that would increase his cash flow by $800 per month for 20 years. But he said he almost didn?t go because he didn?t want to spend the $1,000 it cost him for that 3 day seminar.

Folks, the old saying ?we don?t know what we don?t know? has never been more true that in today?s market. I talk with people everyday that ?do know? and are making killer deals on a regular basis. Yet, the general public believes what the news media dumps on us every night??the economy is terrible, the sky is falling, it?s all doom & gloom, & only the Government can solve our problems?. (Folks, the Government IS the problem)

So stop believing the news and what comes out of the White House. Start believing in yourself. Take control of your life and learn how to be an entrepreneur. Make an effort to learn ?what you don?t know?. Make a better life for yourself.

While Webinars are good, it doesn?t compare to being there in person, net-working, sharing experiences, (good & bad) & making life-long friends.

Folks, Ryan is willing to devote a weekend of his time to teach you the lessons he?s learned about making money with MH?s and Parks. And obviously, as you can see, he isn?t doing it for the money.

Your future will be determined by the choices you make today. So envision the kind of future you want, then make the choices that will get you there.

To your success,

Lonnie

So many of the “deals” that newcomers find are trashed and need a lot of work. I would suggest that your course show newcomers how to Ryanize a home to minimize their investment and still make it appeal to buyers. This would be best if it was a hands on class showing how to replace a sub floor, install pex, insulation and maybe some painting tips. A couple hundred bucks learning how to do it correctly and efficiently is alot better than wasting that money learning from our own mistakes.

I’m big believer in webinars because of cost and time efficiency.

If you only charged $300 for a full day seminar, most people would still have to spend over a $1000 to attend once travel and hotel are figured in.

A webinar that costs $50 wont have any additional costs and would generally get a much bigger audience. There are a lot of inexpensive, easy to use software programs to run these.

It wouldn’t be too dissimilar to what cre makes available periodically but it would have the opportunity to be much more interactive rather than a static presentation.

That being said, if you do a live event and I had the time, I would most likely pay up to $300 for a full seminar. If I couldn’t make it, it would be the other expenses and time commitment that would keep me out.

I think that a seminar like that would be very much needed. And I can’t think of anyone better than you Ryan to teach it. So I encourage you to make it happen for the many folks who are on the fences looking in.

Lonnie thank you for the kind words, years ago when asked what I could do to repay you for what you’d given me your response was “teach others to do deals”. I’ve taken that to heart!

I see fear in the streets everyday as we are one of the hardest hit areas by the current economy yet your system still works! I just bought a 1993 3 bedroom trailer in a top notch park 2 days ago for $2k. As-is I expect it to sell for around $5500 or up around $10k fixed. I don’t need any more units but either way it’s a good deal, then again I might end up flipping it for cash as I’m looking to down size a bit.

For about the same as 2 months worth of cable TV I plan on handing out what I?ve learned about doing deals along with the exact system that I use to do them. You’re right this isn’t about the money! 3 years ago I left my job over a matter of personal integrity and a belief that the owner of the company I worked for was morally wrong, 4 months later the state’s AG shut the company down for the same reason that I left. My boss at the time is now working as a shift manager downgraded from a district manager, I don’t know what he now makes but I bet it’s less than his bonuses from his previous job at the company I worked for.

The loss of one’s JOB can happen at anytime without warning in good times and in bad, Lonnie deals have brought me through hard times and given me a safety buffer at times when I needed them most. I truly believe that anyone can do these deals (My kids are even getting started) and that knowledge is the key to long-term security.

The choice is 100% your folks, you can keep working the daily grind hoping that the worst doesn?t happen or you can invest a little time and money now in to building something better. Drop me an email if you are interested, right now I have the setup to make what I see a reality (I’ve only been trying for 2 years) if there isn’t enough interest I’ll take my family camping.

Best wishes,
Ryan Needler

I would add my bewilderment of those who will attend a seminar with lots of speakers about a lot of advanced concepts before attending something so much more usefull to beginers.

Bill I agree that webinars are a great way to spread information quickly and cheaply BUT I’ve spent hours on the phone trying to help people never to hear from them again… I fear the same would hold true for web based items. I want people to succeed!

On the flip side I’ve had huge amounts of luck getting people started in a face to face environment. Over the years I’ve had some where between 75-100 people through my playground and that I know of at least 21 have done at least 1 deal, 2 have become financially free with 3 more working on it.

What we do isn’t rocket science, it does take some work but anyone with basic skills and the ability to communicate with people CAN do this business! I’m specifically looking for the folks that have done 0-5 FSBO deals and I?m thinking about $200-250 for a weekend to cover my cost, pay my partners for leaving a few homes vacant, and board a few bigger names if enough people want to attend. I’ll do it with as few as ten and as many as about 35-40, I’ve found that the more hands on I can give a person the more likely they are to use what they learn.

Right now there are 3 people that have seriously contacted me, if you are interested get with me and if enough people want help getting started (or boosted) I’ll talk to Jeanne again and get a formal announcement made.

Best wishes,
Ryan Needler

Im near Atlanta, and should close enough to drive up I think. WHat general area are you in?

I recently got laid off from my regular JOB, and although the severance was generous I want to learn more about getting started.

Finding parks to work in around Atlanta seems to be my biggest obstacle.

They are all either fairly nice, ( too expensive for Lonnie deals) or do the deals themselves or are dumps that cater to illegal immigrants with weekly rentals.
