One of the best ways to get started is to buy a duplex, triplex, or quadraplex as owner-occupied. If your credit scores are 680 and above, and you all can do full doc, you could easily get 100% financing (at least with my company). If you additional info, drop me an email.

Hello! My husband and I are interested in getting started in rental properties consisting of two or more units. There are a lot of oppurtunities in our market but we are just unsure of how to get started. We are a young couple, who have not even purchased our first home yet. We are planning to use our first rental property for ourselves along with a few other tenants. I guess what I am asking is what is the best way to get started without needing a ton on money up front or needing a lot net worth behind us? Thanks for any imput.
