If the paint is latex , it will be disolved with “Goof Off”.
Try not to saturate the carpet with Goff Off. Gently work the fibers , because it will cause the woven fabric to swell. Consequently casuing a bump of the carpet . A little Goof Off goes a very long way

A tenant just moved out and no doubt trashed two year old carpet. This fool attempted to paint and slopped it up EVERYWHERE. She must have been on drugs.

Anyhow, is there anyway to get paint out of carpets?? I’d hate to have to replace it again. Maybe I could replace the area that’s damaged the most.
