First go read the P&S very carefully and see what, if any, contingencies there are that might allow you to back out lawfully.

Then talk to a lawyer before deciding.

These days, whereas as a P can usually walk without consequences, a S can normally be forced to fulfill the K if the P insists.

So start by reading and the lawyer, then you’ll be in a better position to decide.

I have been rushed into signing an escrow. My soon-to-be ex-husband pushed me into signing, and now I have found financing that allows me to keep the house. I just signed the purchase agreement - is there any way to get out? Please, please let me know!
