Marcus, you’re asking the seller to take back an unsecured note. Finding free and clear property should be easy compared to finding a seller who will take that deal.

Hi,
First time at this site. Looks really interesting.
I could use some help finding property in Texas that has a clear title. i.e.; nothing is owed on it. My idea is to purchase the property with a personal note and a quit claim deed so I can get an %80 percent no-doc loan and use that money to make money. I could pay a seller a fair amount down in thirty days.
Anyway…I need some way to find free and clear property.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank You.
